A little more flexibility in breakfast timing would be ideal!!! a better lock mechanism on the bedroom doors for more privacy would enhance the experience!!! Consider improving the convenience for dining options as well!!!

perfect spot for exploring nearby castles and scenic walks

i recently stayed in a lovely deluxe king room where jon was an excellent host and made sure i had an early check-in, setting the stage for a wonderful adventure around, with hopton castle and brampton bryan castle both just a short walk away, perfect for a weekend stroll.

I had the most delightful stay! The eggs at breakfast were so fresh, courtesy of their own chickens and Mary even accommodated my vegan preferences, which was a lovely surprise. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, but I did wish for a little more privacy in the bathroom. I'd definitely go back!

the stunning countryside views and tranquil gardens were a perfect retreat. we particularly loved the fresh eggs and homemade bread served at breakfast. jonathan and mary made us feel right at home, and the resident pets added to the charm.

Charming property surrounded by stunning gardens with a stream flowing through, creating a lovely tranquil atmosphere. Breakfasts with delicious homemade bread and fresh eggs are a delight. Hosts are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making the stay even more special.

While the location is beautiful, having limited dining options close by could be improved. A more secure mechanism for the bedroom door would offer additional peace of mind.

The stunning location was a highlight, although the drive to a nearby pub for dinner was a bit inconvenient. The freezing January fog obscured the picturesque views. the lack of a lock on the bedroom door felt a little unnerving, even if it harkens back to a simpler time. Breakfast featured freshly baked bread, which added a delightful touch to the experience.
